MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY & FEES:
All applications for membership must be made on the prescribed Form and must be proposed by an Active Member and seconded by another active member of the Association.
All applications for membership shall be considered by the Executive Committee.
The applicant has to be a member of ASTA International to apply for membership of ASTA India Chapter.
ASTA India Chapter will charge a fees from the members. The fees is in addition to the fees paid to ASTA International and is paid directly to ASTA India Chapter for its various activities. The fees will be set by the Office Bearers and can be changed at their discretion.
Members who do not pay the fees for two consecutive years, will be asked to withdraw their membership from the association. Two notices will be sent to them before terminating their membership.
All ASTA members from India have to pay membership fees for the ASTA India Chapter also. Once a company or individual becomes the member for ASTA International, they automatically become members of their respective country chapter members. One can not become members of only ASTA India Chapter, membership has to be routed through the ASTA headquarters in the USA. ASTA India chapter acts as a face of ASTA international and is very actively promoting the Indian members in various activities organised from time to time.
